Jarek: Sorry for the delayed response and a huge thanks for all the bugs you've filed.
There's definitely an intention to have fan out channels (duplicate data and send to multiple sinks), failover channels (send to one of many destinations), and load balancing channels (attempt to spread load over many channels given some policy). Prasad has been working on the fan out channel but I don't think the others are far behind. If you want go ahead and file JIRAs for these if they haven't already been filed. It would be great to hear your thoughts on expected functionality. Thanks!
