Regarding the question of granularity of configuration, I think it's fine for
all components (sources, sinks, channels, etc.) to be exposed by all monitoring
plugins. Trying to micromanage which components can be monitored by which
monitoring plugins is way too fine grained, in my opinion. In other words, I
agree with you guys.
