i'm currently not on fluxlist, so please reply to me personally.
1) i need information on ben patterson. does anyone know of obscure
sources. that is, places besides the few major fluxus sites on the web etc.?
do you have anything on your computer that you can email me?
2) i now work for musicworks magazine so if you have ideas for stories i
would love to hear suggestions. also, if you have discs or books that need
reviewing please send them to us attn: josh. i can't promise anything, but
we're always interested.
for instance, we have a new section devoted to images of soundmaking. if you
have neat pics, send them with an explanation.
3) if you are thinking about becoming a new subscriber to musicworks i can
offer you a 5$ discount on our regular price. forgive the spaminess of this
part of the email, but we are a non-profit and a good magazine at that!
issue 77 has an interview by me with some upstart toronto improvisers Wrist
Error, who recently recorded with mats gustaffson, and articles on jim
tenney, sabat/clarke, eve egoyan, and by malcolm goldstein. in issue 79 i
will publish an article on jaap blonk.
