I submit my twopenn'orth
as a massive Lennon fan

I have most of Yoko Ono's albums
and would say that many of her songs are rather ordinary
and some (to my ears) poor
nevertheless
she has written and recorded a few (in my opinion) gems

Don't Be Scared for example is an excellent track

I think that, in common with many others, when an artist enters another
field
success can be patchy - sometimes brilliant, sometimes not so good
