hi sol, thanks for the information; i have been organizing all the papers i printed early on in fluxlist, much of it contributed by ken freidman. and there is alot of it and i guess i used to print 'everything'. thought it would be good to add archive information to the whole thing. already i see something wonderful on the tate site; fluxus aprons, one with stomach anatomy painted on he front. check it out. that might keep you busy for a while when there is nothing on tv.
for inspiration how about sending mail art to all the people in the fluxlist address book?????? cut up all those alligators that are taking up space. i have not been doing too much myself this summer and enjoy idleness quite well. i watch 'friends' re-runs and 'hollywood squares' and take naps with the huge puppy. the smoke has lifted and we have had some rain so it is pleasant to lounge outdoors and read detective novels (at present by anne perry, set in victorian times). also going to outdoor bar-b-ques and drinking beer. very bests, carol :) NP: david bowie, 'slip away' on 'heathen' xxoo Sol Nte wrote: > Hi Carol, > > Tate archives at > http://www.tate.org.uk/researchservices/researchcentre/archive.htm > > most relevant to Fluxus in Britain is > http://www.tate.org.uk/researchservices/researchcentre/archive_mayor.htm > > not much though.....the Jean Brown papers are the best for pictures also try > http://sdrc.lib.uiowa.edu/atca/subjugated/cover.htm > for Fluxus mail art documents, essays etc from University of Iowa > > cheers, > > Sol. -- carol starr taos, new mexico, usa [EMAIL PROTECTED] web: http://www.CarolStarr.net
