aha! that's it! thanks dude. i thought they were auto-set to 1 - how
particle scaling is set to .1 by default, and sometimes it is not enough to make them visible. it is strange indeed, because you are using the same camera transform as the default one. maybe some other hints are affecting the visibility. have you solved the list of #void's problem? it didn't happen when i run the script. or maybe i didn't notice it.
