it compiles and links fine for me on leopard. maybe you should clean up the leftovers from fluxus-016.compiles fine, but seems to link to the wrong fluxus-engine_ss.dylib somehow (in /opt/local/lib/fluxus-016 instead of fluxus-017 where it installs to)
