We are working with FME 2004 and trying to open .dgn drawings in FME
Viewer. The problem is while doing this we loose many chinese
characters. I have attached in this email two graphic files one .dgn
and the other an .dxf. both of them represent the same data. The
thing is that the .dxf file does retain the Chinese characters
without any problem and presents them well in FME Viewer. On the
other hand when FME tries to read the .dgn file he mix the Chinese up
with english characters. To give you a clearer picture of what is
going on, I have included a ms-word document with many screen shots
trying to explain the problem in better details.
