Hello,

I'm not sure why this occurs. I've just tried a DGN to DGN translation
and it works OK, so I can see that our DGN writer is capable of writing
Chinese text.

I assume that your computer is set up to use Chinese fonts and the
default language is set to Chinese?

I am using Build 1378 of FME-2004ICE^3. If you are using an older
version and have an AMC then I'd suggest you upgrade to this version by
downloading it from our web site at www.safe.com/download

If you look at the MIF data in the FME Viewer does it look OK? If not
perhaps our MIF reader has a problem with this text - in this case you
should send a copy of your source data to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and we'll
take a look to see if there is something that needs to be improved.

Regards,

Mark
