That should work. Just start 2 copies of Workbench, one with your
original workspace and one with the new one. Selecting one or more
transformers (and links), hitting Control-C, going to the other
workspace and hitting Control-V does the trick.
It wasn't possible in older versions, but the one you have right now
should be able to do it.
