FME can not write to the MapPoint format directly, but it will install
an application extender for MapPoint if it's found on the same machine.
You can then import all FME supported formats in MapPoint, although
there is a catch: the data has to be in lat/lon. From MapPoint it can
then be saved to its native format, or to Streets format iirc.
