I think you're SOL. The file stored on the Palm is not the same as
your standard .fp7 file. A cursory search doesn't show any DB
remnants during sync either.

Does anyone know a way to retrieve (ie Download) a filemaker database
file from a Palm PDA, when the original desktop FM file it was

When I look at the FM Mobile 8 conduit settings, I have only two
options, Synch or Don't synch. If I set it to synch, it can't find
the deleted file to synch with. If I set it to Don't Synch, well, you
get the idea. Many of my other conduits have additional settings
that can be selected such as PDA overwrites the desktop version and
vice versa, but apparently not FM Mobile 8.0. I'm tempted to create
a new blank file on the desktop with matching fields and file name,
but I have my suspicions that this either won't work, or the blank
desktop file will overwrite the PDA version and erase what little
data I have. In short, I'm trying to get the file off the PDA and
onto the desktop where I can get it back into Filemaker 8.5.
Suggestions, anyone?
