intranet publishing problems

I have a filemaker database file intended to serve as an intranet for  
a company.  It draws info from multiple other company filemaker  
files--or should.  It works great when I use it as a filemaker file.   
But when I publish it via instant web publishing on the filemaker  
server, and look at it via a browser, none of the data from the  
linked files appears.  It shows file missing errors.

I am using Filemaker 8.5 and Filemaker Server Advanced
Any suggestions what I might have set up incorrectly?
