How about:
Timestamp field: ModStamp autoenter Modification Timestamp
Text field: ModHistory with auto-enter calc:
LeftValues ( Get ( UserName ) & ¶ & ModStamp & ¶ & ModHistory ; 10 )
giving you the last 5 mods (in 2 line pairs - user/timestamp, most
recent first) in a single non-repeating field
