Example of source types: book, serial, vendor, gift, etc. There is a check box field for each source type - marked with an X. If the source is a book, the book box is checked, etc. As the data recorded for each type of source is different, there is a tab for each source type that hold the pertinent data. I wrote a script that will open the tab according to which source type field that is checked. If "book" is checked, the book tab is on top. If "vendor" is checked, the vendor tab is on top. This works great when going from a different layout to the source layout via a button- say from the image record or image order to the source. But is there a way to trigger this script when simply browsing through this one layout so that as the patron goes from record to record, the appropriate tab is automatically appears without having to click on the tab? I'm using FMP 8.5 on Max OSX. Deb Deborah Tinsley Assoc. Librarian of Visual Resources Kansas City Art Institute [EMAIL PROTECTED] 816 802 3395
