We have a site which is CDML-coded running via Filemaker Unlimited 6.0.
We're considering upgradering our whole FMP-package to the current 8.5 (or 9
when released), which means that our site to some extent has to be
reprogrammed. In this process we're also considering Lasso, and there're a
few questions we would like to know more about.
1.) what advantages/disadvantages are there running Lasso vs only Filemaker?
2.) Can Lasso "convert" the old-cdml code?
3.) How does Lasso perform (speed serving data, searches etc.)?
4.) Any "dark sides" to Lasso?
Our site is serving data for users, but they can also make new records in a
database sending us information.
