Also, I am baffled by a find and replace bug, or I think its a bug. A find replace refuses to "see" my string, trying to replace "- Standard" with nothing. I've posted it at http://images.jlist.com/ f3/tests.jpg so can anyone see why this wouldn't function?

I went to the URL you provided, Peter, but it appeared blank. My browser informed me that it was 1 x 1 pixel.

But I tried to reproduce your situation. In a sample database, I had 1 record where the test field contained the value "-Standard" and another where it had the value "Standard" (without the minus sign). A Find operation for
   "-Standard" [WITH the quotation marks]
turned up just the 1st record. A Find for
   Standard [WITHOUT the quotation marks]
turned up both of them.

After this 2nd Find, I entered the field and issued a "Replace Field Contents" command, chose the "Replace with calculated result" option, and specified
"" [quotation marks with nothing between them]
It worked fine.

Could you describe your problem in a bit more detail?
