I'd say there's no easy way to do even sync and merge both ways.
There must be an ODBC driver for Domino, so FileMaker can use the
Domino data both ways with the “Import ODBC” and “Execute SQL”
commands. This would require quite a bit of custom programming and
still this is not far from being “live” and there's nothing like
record locking, I'm afraid.

The client is using fmp ver 6 (no immediate plan on upgrading) and
Domino
