OK, so I feel really inept ... haven't created anything in a long time so am totally stumped by how Enter Find and Perform Find work in 7 and up.
I'm just trying to create some reports, find some data and show it in a printable report ... who'da thunk it could be so different. So ... table are people and invoices, want to show the revenue generated by a rep on an invoice per month. won't find my requests for no matter what i turn on or off, ie., used to be Enter Find Mode let the user enter criteria, Perform Find would execute the Find ... how does it work now? FMP 7, 8.5 & 9. Here are the steps i have Go to layout invoices enter find mode pause perform find replace no dialog find next sort restore no dialog (not working either) Go to layout report OK, over the feeling foolish, just want to make this work.
