I am re-doing a database that was originally created in v4.1. I am having a real issue with how field validation works, now. Previously, as soon as the user advanced to the next field, on a layout or in a portal, it would warn if validation failed. Now, at least in portals, there are no warnings until much later and it only seems to give the option of erasing the entire record and starting from scratch. What am I missing?
Also, I thought we were promised the ability to trigger scripts upon entering or exiting a field. Did that not get done? -- Withan Lemmon Advanta-STAR
