Filemaker Serve 9 vs 8

Hi, I stupidly upgraded my Filemaker server machine to Leopard, not  
understanding that Filemaker Server 8 broke under it. So I'm running a  
demo version of 9 while I decide whether or not to upgrade to  
Filemaker Server (I'd like to be using Advanced for the web publishing  
features). However, we've had a few problems with Filemaker Server 9,  
including that it seems to be a bit slower than FMS 8 was, making  
searching for products feel about 20% slower overall -- not fun. Also,  
we've had some disconnects that seem odd since we never had this  
problem before. My question is a) has anyone found Filemaker Server 9  
to be slower than 8, and b) is FMS Advanced likely to be faster than  
FMS? Thanks in advance if you can help.
