I received this from one of my clients and wonder if this problem might ring a bell or sound familiar to anyone. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

We're having trouble with the database (FMP7). We're being disconnected at our workstations [primarily intel iMacs] , and then when we try to reconnect, our computers can't locate the dbase. [the database somehow closed itself - another sample config database however, remained available on the server]

I rebooted the server FMPS 7 running on G4 tower (Mac OS 10.3.xx), and that solved things temporarily. But within ten
minutes or so, we had the same trouble once again.

We consulted with our network tech, and he determined that the computer hosting the filemaker server seems to be functioning as it should (though he plans to come in this evening and run several disk checks). Do you have any idea
what our problem might be?

He indicated that we might need to rebuild the dbase?

The system has been running fine for over 2 years - this issue has just come up.
