I am slowly recreating my office database in FMP8 from it's current
FMP4 version. My 14 file solution will shortly be a three file
solution. I'd like to utilize the " pop up " window capability to
perform find functions on whatever table is currently in view. I have
created a pop up window referencing that table called from a script
attached to a button in a data entry layout window. I have a few
fields in the pop up window to search in along with a button that
calls a script that performs a find on that table, closes the pop up
window and moves the original data entry layout to a list view
layout. The navigation of the layouts seems to work fine. The
problem is that the find operation has no effect on the found set in
the original window of that table. Is this possible to have a find
performed in one window view of a table effect the found set of
another window view of the same table?
