Hi!
I've made a database of video clips. It works fine on Macs, but when
transferred to Windows customers complain of video degradation,
especially when compared to windows media player, which can view the
same file in perfect resolution.
FMP 9, Various Mac os X. Windows XP and Vista
I use a reference to the file only, it is not stored in FMP.
Macs use .dv files; windows must be converted to, (or first digitized
in), .avi, otherwise exactly the same. Again, Windows Media Player
looks fine, but is degraded in FMP.
Is it the fault of Quicktime?
Is Quicktime the default of FMP?
Can another format be used with better video?
Other suggestions?
