Tim, In FMP 6, if you try to create a field with a name that begins with a digit, such as "1999ZZ", FMP 6 will bark at you with a similar warning. However, in FMP 6, this "1999ZZ" field could not be used in a calculation ... FMP wouldn't let you (as best I remember). Jason
