I am assuming that Jeff is stateside. He may have a few things
that you wouldn't have. There are the HIPPA provisions. In
addition, where the clinical management database I worked on got
fairly complicated was when it got into payments. In Canada there
is one payer most times. In this system there had to be provision
for multiple payers and provision to capture multiple receipts per
event. Their system is complicated.
Point taken, and apologies if my response seemed cavalier.
From his posts, I think Jeff has the right attitude and energy to
make this a great learning experience, even if the curve at the
beginning will be a bit steep. :)
