Troi Automatisering releases Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.1 for FileMaker Pro 10
Updated dialog plug-in for FileMaker Pro 10 extends input
capabilities and lets you present slideshows.

Automatisering today announced the immediate availability of Troi
Dialog Plug-in 5.1 for FileMaker Pro 10.
What is Troi Dialog Plug-in?
Troi Dialog Plug-in is a very powerful tool for displaying all sorts
of dialogs in FileMaker Pro 10. The text of the dialog and of the
buttons can be created dynamically by using a calculation. All from
within FileMaker you can:
-show an input dialog to let a user input data in up to 15 fields
and up to 4 buttons
-choose these input fields to be any of the following: simple text,
password field, popup list or check box
-show a list dialog or very big text dialog
-show temporary flash screens
-show a progress bar for lengthy operations
-add a standard icon or your own custom icons
-present slideshow of images and movies fullscreen
What is new in version 5.1?
Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.1 is a maintenance update for FileMaker 10. It
has these fixes and new features:
-Compatible with FileMaker Pro 10
-Updated example files and documentation for FileMaker 10.
-Added new Dial_VersionAutoUpdate function. The
Dial_VersionAutoUpdate function is part of an emerging standard for
FileMaker plug-ins of third party vendors of plug-ins. The version
number is returned in the format aabbccdd where every letter
represents a digit of the level, so versions can be easily compared.
-Fixed a bug in the Dial_PresentImage function where error text
would be displayed in a very small window.
-Fixed several little cosmetic issues.
New features introduced in version 5.0
Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.1 has the same features as version 5.0, which
added these new features:
-An improved InputDialog function: you can now use up to 15 input items!
-A new PresentImage function, which can show a full screen slideshow
of images and movies.
-A new high precision Dial_GetCurrentTimestamp function, which
returns the current date and time, including the fractions of a
second.
-Added compatibility with Windows Vista.
-Improved compatibility with Leopard.

and title bars in dialogs
-control the way users type in data: you can, for example, let them
type more than 10 and less than 40 characters

all images with water as a keyword
-measure finishing times in a race
-measure with accuracy the efficiency of 2 differently implemented scripts.

Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.1 works with FileMaker Pro 8.x, 9 and 10. The
plug-in can also be used with runtimes from FileMaker Pro Advanced
8.x, 9 or FileMaker Pro Advanced 10. The plug-in is available for Mac
OS X and Windows.
On Mac OS X the plug-in runs in Mac OS X 10.4.5 or higher. The
plug-in also runs on Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows Vista.
QuickTime 7 or later is needed for the Dial_PresentImage() function.
Licenses cost US$ 59 per user. Details on developer licenses and

Upgrade information
The update is free for all users of version 5. The 5.1 version works
with the 5.0 registration string.
Users who bought a license for Troi Dialog Plug-in version 4.5 on or
after February 1st, 2007 are entitled to a free upgrade. We have
emailed these registered users a new registration string in February
2008. Please email us if you have not received a new registration
string.
Upgrades from licenses bought before February 1st, 2007, are
available from US$ 29 per user.

FileMaker Pro 10 compatibility and other Troi Plug-ins
As for our other plug-ins compatibility we have good news: in our
preliminary testing we have found no major issues with our current
plug-ins. We are continuing our testing and plan to release updates
of our plug-ins to fix minor and cosmetic issues. You can find more
