When a file is damaged some sections of the file may no longer make sense - rather than trying to figure out where and how they were used FMP's recover process simply discards them. This can lead to missing data or missing parts of the structure. While the Recover process has been improved in FMP 10, because of this liberal tossing of file components one should not use a recovered file for anything other than data retrieval.
