I have a window which contains a layout, which contains a portal.
When the windows opens up, I want the cursor to go to the first field in the
portal (#1 in tab order).
Instead it goes to another field, which is down in the tab order, and has
Browse and Find field behavior ("Allow field to be entered in".) turned off.
It goes there the first time the window is displayed, from then on it will
indeed end up in the first field going row to row.
I can force the correct behavior with a Go To Field in the script which
opens the window, but then I need a Case statement to provide for all the
windows I might be opening out of this supposedly generalized script.
Any explanation for this strange behavior?
