Web Viewer and SVG

For the uninitiated, SVG means scalable vector graphics, which  
consists of objects in three forms:  text, bit map images and, taa  
daa, primitive graphic elements.  The Filemaker web viewer is  
supposed to be capable of rendering SVG objects.  I've been banging  
my head against various hard objects for some hours now trying to  
figure out how to work with the graphic primitives but have not been  
able to find an example that I can make work.

Would anyone have a snipit of code that could be referenced by web  
viewer to generate something as simple as a line segment?  All I can  
offer in return is gratitude, but lots of that.
