Chuck,
Would AppleScript UI-scripting be an acceptable workaround until then?
Regards,
Lee.

Addendum to Previous About Passenger....
I've communicated with the maker of this app. He says he's going to
have a new version out sometime this year....likely Summer. And he's
looking to include AE-awareness.

....it's not Apple-Event aware.
If I can't applescript it, I can't use it.
It's as simple as that.

Hi Bev,
I've been playing around with Passenger.
It looks like it will fill-the-proverbial-bill. And then some.....
It will import and parse the XML export from Workgroup Manager.
And it will export the resulting data to any form I care to make
of it. Some stuff will have to be parsed in the script for a
relational management of multiple e-mail addresses and such. But
that's not a show stopper..

P.S. Kudos to Steve for pointing this app out. Also like the
Fallacy Tutorial I found there as well....

Chuck, if it can export as tab-delimited or comma-separated,
maybe. Again,
you must have the XML formatted as FMP can import it. Please read
all about
import/export formats that FMP can use, in the online help.

THAT looks useful....
I take it that it can export data from Passenger into a form
that can be
imported into an FMP database system. And visa-versa.

It's not actually a malfunction, Chuck. As Beverly mentioned
you'll
need an XSL file to convert the Workgroup Manager XML into a
form that
FileMaker can load. You'll either need to write that XSL
transformation yourself or find someone who has/can do it for
you.
