Troi Automatisering releases Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.5.2 for FileMaker Pro 11
Updated dialog plug-in for FileMaker Pro 11 adds bigger icon support.

Automatisering today announced the immediate availability of Troi
Dialog Plug-in 5.5.2 for FileMaker Pro 11.
What is Troi Dialog Plug-in?
Troi Dialog Plug-in is a very powerful tool for displaying all sorts
of dialogs in FileMaker Pro 11. The text of the dialog and of the
buttons can be created dynamically by using a calculation. All from
within FileMaker you can:
- show an input dialog to let a user input data in up to 15 fields
and up to 4 buttons
- choose these input fields to be any of the following: simple text,
password field, popup list or check box
- show a list dialog or very big text dialog
- show temporary flash screens
- show a progress bar for lengthy operations
- add a standard icon or your own custom icons, now also with transparent PNGs
- present a slideshow of images and movies fullscreen
What is new in version 5.5.2?
Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.5.2 adds support for bigger icons and several
other tweaks. It also fixes several bugs:
- (Custom)icons can now be extra large, up to 48x48 pixels. With
todays screen sizes this makes for pleasing dialog aesthetics.
- Improved the Dial_Dialog function: you can now also add the switch:
"-StopOnESC". With this switch the user can press the ESC key to
leave the dialog.
- (Windows) Improved support for (transparent) PNG custom icons.
- (Mac OS X only) Added new switch "-CheckSpellingWhileTyping" to
enable continuous spell checking for the Dial_BigInputDialog function.
- (Mac OS X) Converted the Dial_ListDialog function completely to
Cocoa, restoring all functionality.
- (Mac OS X) Several bug fixes in the Dial_InputDialog function.
- (Mac OS X) Fixed a bug in Dial_BigInputDialog function where typing
the return key would result in a linefeed character in the returned
text.
- (Mac OS X) Fixed a bug in Dial_ListDialog function where empty
lines would make the wrong item pre-selected.
- (Windows) Fixed a flickering in the progress bar part of the
Dial_ProgressBar function.
- (Mac OS X) Reenabled setting the dialog position: Dial_SetPosition
now works again for all dialog types.
- Updated User Guide and Overview.fp7 to reflect the new functionality.

type more than 10 and less than 40 characters

- measure finishing times in a race
- measure with accuracy the efficiency of 2 differently implemented scripts.

Troi Dialog Plug-in 5.5.2 works with FileMaker Pro 9, 10 and 11. The
plug-in can also be used with runtimes from FileMaker Pro Advanced 9,
10 or FileMaker Pro Advanced 11. The plug-in is available for Mac OS
X and Windows.
On Mac OS X the plug-in runs in Mac OS X 10.5.7 or higher. The
plug-in also runs on Windows Vista or Windows 7. QuickTime 7 or later
is needed for the Dial_PresentImage() function.

Users who bought a license for Troi Dialog Plug-in on or after
February 1st, 2008 are entitled to a free upgrade. We have emailed
