Stephen,
Full version 8.5v2 will not print from script, I don't know about other factors, however there is a workaround for it.

Missed the bit about runtimes. Thought you were speaking of the app itself.

Stephen,

Good luck as a client of mine who has just bought a new 27" iMac has found that you
need to do workarounds with 8.5 v2 to print and from personal experience an FM9 pro
advanced runtime solution will not open on that same 27" iMac. I've tested the same
solution over the weekend on 3 other Snow Leopard machines and it works on them but not
on this particular new iMac.
So good luck, but I certainly wouldn't be guaranteeing the versions you
mentioned as being able to run on Snow Leopard without restriction.

FYI you can also run 5.5, 6. 7. 8. 8.5, 9, 10 and 11 on Snow Leopard.

According to Filemaker if you have 9.v3 running on Snow Leopard then you're
lucky as some machines will run 9v3 and some won't. Filemaker does not support
version 9 on Snow Leopard so you will not get any help from them, as I found
out, other than telling me to upgrade to the latest version 11

Has there been a patch so 8.5v2 will print on Snow Leopard yet ?
There will not be any more patches to FMP 8.5 or earlier. And I highly doubt
there will be any patches to FMP 9 or 10 either. FMI generally doesn't patch
anything but the current release, and perhaps one release back if you're lucky.

I created a runtime using advanced fm9 v3 and the solution runs fine on my
Laptop running Snow Leopard 10.6.2 but will not run on an iMac running the same
OS Snow Lepoard 10.6.2
Any thought there at all please ?
What error are you getting? I have no problems with FMP 9 running on 10.6.3.

Cheers,
