Hello Lee, As far as OS, my development computer is a June 2010 MacBook Pro with Mac OS 10.6.3 and I support a wide range of FileMaker versions: 6, 8.5v2, 9, 10 and 11. I hit servers running everything from FMS 8.0v4 upwards on all these client versions. I haven't had a problem.
Please articulate if you have had a system issue with Mac OS 10.6 and FMP 8.5v2, and if so, which Mac OS X version and what type of problem.
