Not happening for me on any of the 3 computers (2 Macs, 1 PC) where I use FMPA 
11.

Sounds as if it might be a hardware problem. The screen is refreshed when you 
select something. The best way to check is to see if it does the same thing 
with any program OTHER than FMPA.
