Thanks! That sent me in the right direction. It's still not perfect (being
windows), but its much better now. Under change theme in the control panel,
there is a place to change the color of selected items and text. The color
doesn't carry through true to all applications, but at least it lets one
screw around with it.

Hi Jim
I'm also using Win 7 with FMP 11. My highlighting is a light blue, which
works fine. I can't find a place in Filemaker to change the highlight, but
I notice that if I change the Windows Theme, then the highlight colour
changes. Perhaps you can use a different theme, or find somewhere in the
Windows Control Panel to modify the highlight colour.

I just updated from FMP 8 to FMP 11. In FMP 11, when you select text, or
the contents of a field, the default highlight color seems to be a very
dark blue, while the text itself remains black, which is very hard to
read. In FMP 8, the highlight was black, but the text changed to white,
which was much better. Is there some way of changing the highlight color
for selected text? I can't seem to find it.
This is Windows 7, FMP 11.0v2. Thanks!
