Stephen,
Thank you for the tip, filemaker are organising the 'fix' for me.
Strange........ I'd mentioned the problem on this site before but no one
had offered the solution, thank you.

Call FMI support tomorrow. You will find you can "enjoy" a lot of time with them, but, in
time, they will send you a new key to activate with. Happened to me with a new laptop and a client
whose needs never extended beyond FMP9. The activation thing was one of the stupidest things that
ever came from "The Wedge".

Larry,
Rosetta isn't the answer. When I try and open 9 Advanced it automatically goes
on the internet and tries to activate then waits for a response that never
comes. It just keeps trying in a loop mode until I cancel it all

Lee,
When you upgraded to Snow Leopard, you were supposed to install Rosetta. It
was an additional optional install. I am running 10.6.6 and FMP Advanced 9
just fine on my iMac. However, Lion (10.7) will not have Rosetta. FWIW.

Another negative for me with 11 along with quite a few others and the fact I
can't even open my old version of 9 and use that as I'm now using Snow Leopard
which will not run version 9 on my iMac.
