Like you when 11 first came out I didn't like the move of the tool bar
to the top. To be honest, I gt used to it in no time. I like the fact
that I can customize the icons it shows. I still support projects in
version 9 and 10. I have gotten used to going back and forth but have
come to prefer the setup in 11.
If you need only one copy I would suggest going for it. If you need a
number of copies FileMaker offers an annual license agreement. Much
lower cost now, but you have to pay annually to keep the license. For
a business, it means you can budget the cost. On the up side as long as
you keep the contract in in place you get the latest version when it

So you would either need to upgrade FileMaker or downgrade your OS.
