Hi John, I am unable to understand your comment that FM 12 cannot be installed on Mavericks.
I have FM 12 installed on Mavericks on my 2011 MM Server without any problems so, as far as I can see, there should be no problem in installing on OSX 10.9. It works perfectly well here.
