but to answer your question.
the function TODAY was the way to get current date in FM6.
the current time, I don't see a function in the docs (yes I still have
fm6 docs)
everything else can be calculated from text (in quotes) and field
values.
TODAY & " " & ?? & " " & left(user, 1) & ":¶"
Check your function list to see what time options you have.
