You might get more meaningful feedback if you try compiling the AppleScript in Apple’s "Script Editor" or, better yet, Late Night Software’s "Script Debugger Lite". (Lite version is free.) The latter has a more sophisticated browser for an application’s scripting dictionary (plus debugging tools as the name implies).
