The only impediment to upgrading is an unwillingness to do so. I do not use
Filemaker Server features. Filemaker itself does not directly interact with
the internet, nor are its files accessible online. As long as the scripts
continue to work I see no reason to upgrade Filemaker. If I were using it
to make money I would upgrade, but the only income I get from it is a small
fee from the schools that covers my internet server costs. I should
probably also say that I'm getting on it years (nearly 82) and may not have
that many years left to do this anyway.
Thanks,
Charlie
