I have run into a couple of problems with running some of the forcing field and initial condition regridding programs. Some of the run scripts supplied generate illegally formatted namelist files by including a blank in between the initial ampersand and the namelist record. For instance in test3/generate_forcing.csh ... cat > regrid2d_nml <<EOF & regrid2d_nml ^ ... >From Metcalf & Reid 'Fortran 90/95 explained' section 9.10 p212:- 'The first non-blank item in the record is an ampersand followed without an intervening blank by the group name.' The intervening blank is probably tolerated on some platforms but the scripts provided should be edited to provide legal namelists.
