Dear Bijoy, I dont know for sure if mom4 can run without mpi but I would like to suggest that getting mpt and installing it (mpi toolkit) for SGI is quite simple..Of course you will need sysadmin's help for this.
Go to www.sgi.com and put a search for mpi or mpt. The latest version is mpt1.7 which is not too big (about 8 MB) which you can download and install with the instructions that comes along.
