Does anyone know the when XP comes to its end of life? According to Windows Life-Cycle Policy (http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifepolicy ) Direct OEM and Retail License Availability end date is January 31, 2008. If you read the Microsoft support life cycle FAQ ( http://www.microsoft.com/windows/lifecycle/default.mspx) #20 The Support Lifecycle policy has no affect on how long you can use a product. The Support Lifecycle policy outlines how long Microsoft will provide technical support for products.
Does this mean from January 31, 2008 we will no longer receive security updates? Thanks for your help.
