Fantastic Inese!

This is so different from Spain where, when I called the govt this morning,
they used the word "secret" four times just to describe the agendas!

Other examples greatly appreciated J

Hi Helen,

The Latvian Cabinet publishes the agenda and almost ALL of the documents
that will be reviewed at the Cabinet meeting. Actually, the Cabinet meetings
are also open to the public (since 2002), especially if an NGO has a vested
interest. NGO can also be asked to present 'an expert opinion' at the
Cabinet meeting (I have done it regarding the secection of the Chief of the
Anti-corruption bureau).

Here is the official text in English describing the procedure:

http://www.mk.gov.lv/en/mk/mksedes/

here is the link to the actual upcoming agendas (next one on August 24th)
and protocols of the past meetings:

Hi All

In spite of rumours in the press this week, the Spanish cabinet, the Council
of Ministers did not consider the draft access to information law today.

The Ministry of the Presidency tells us that we cannot know when it will be
discussed as the agendas of the upcoming cabinet meetings are always secret.

Question: Can anyone help me with examples of countries where the agendas of
upcoming meetings are published, at least a day or two in advance?

Thanks in advance

Helen
