Dear Maria,

The most famous site here in the UK is whatdotheyknow.com which is very
similar to what you describe and now accounts for around 10% of all
requests. It is run by mySociety who do lots of other innovations around
data. The site is here http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/ and they also have a
blog http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/blog. A similar site is also to be
launched in Germany and, later in the year, for the EU -here's a short blog
post about it http://constitution-unit.com/2011/08/03/was-wissen-sie/.

I hope this helps,

Ben

Subject: [foianet] Information access web sites

Dear FOIA advocates, in Chile we've developed a web platform called "Acceso
Inteligente" (Smart Access, a web application that allows citizens to
request public information from any Chilean government agency, all from a
single website, a "one-stop-shop". Once an individual submits an information
request (protected by FOIA regulation), Acceso Inteligente automatically
connects with the online form of each public agency to which information
requests are addressed. All answers to those requests are then published
online as a searchable data base, so that Citizens may consult relevant
information within previous requests (and answers to them) before submitting
a new request.

Do you know if there are any other similar sites in the rest of the world?
Your help will be very useful to us.
Thanks so much!

Best Regards,
