Hi Colleagues, I attended an expert group meeting on "Models and Mechanisms of Civil Society Participation in UNEP: Building on the Experiences of Multilateral Organizations", held on 22-23 January 2013, in Geneva. The meeting discussed a proposal to create a UNEP access to information policy. The report is now ready and it contains a quite comprehensive proposal for such a policy.
The report is being tabled at a meeting for Global Major Groups and Stakeholders for them to use to make recommendations to the Governing Council of UNEP.
