Bill,

LOL

I did not know about this either until someone else on a singer list mentioned
it.

By the way the recording program I use is Goldwave, which cost about 50. for
life. Well worth it.
Five bucks for a concert is great. LOL You can’t take it with you know when
that day comes. LOL

Enjoy.

Mike

Dear Mike,

This is very interesting. I didn’t know this was available. I checked out the
concertwindow web site and found that there were a couple of artists that I
knew or knew of that had done concerts through concertwindow. I guess I’ll
have to keep track of what’s going on, and see if it works for me.

You are bad for me – looks like I’m going to be spending time and money doing
this. I blame you.

Bill Dolman

Lucy article in the Boston Globe.

To those on the Folk Singers list and Shindell list, Jean R told the Shindell
list about www.concertwindow.com where you can hear and watch live shows for
five dollars.

http://www.concertwindow.com/venues You will need to down load Google Chrome
to view the websites.

Club Passim in Cambridge just had Lucy tonight and last night.

Buskin and Batteau did a fictional song about the original couple who founded
Club Passim.

The video and audio is outstanding.

I can see this being a great concept in the computer age to be able to hear and
view concerts all around the world, just like with major sports. Including
all kinds of music, Classical too.

I do not think it will hurt the local venue, as nothing beats seeing a live
show, but for me to see a show of a favorite singer in San Diego, Tim Flannery
and others, would be wonderful.

Mike
