Hi Claudio, The algorithm described in that (now defunct) paper had a couple of very subtle problems. We (Jamie Douglass, Todd Millstein, and myself) have since come up with a better algorithm for handling left recursion, and we are currently working on a paper that describes it.
The new algorithm has not been put into the OMeta implementation yet, but should be soon. I'll keep you posted.
